The Drain Man is a member of the Master Plumbers Association of Australia and our staff are licensed or registered plumbers, professionally trained to understand how drains are laid out, how they work effectively, where problems can arise, and most importantly, how to fix drainage problems and prevent them in the future. Although we are qualified plumbers, we differentiate our service by specialising in drain-clearing operations. We understand the specific needs for prompt, reliable and effective service when a drain blockage occurs and our service teams are equipped with the specialised tools required to manage the drainage situation in your environment.

There are two primary means of clearing drain and sewer blockages: with rodding equipment and through high pressure jet clearing. Traditionally, a plumber may have a sewer rodding machine to clear blockages which is effective in many circumstances. However in situations where tree roots have entered the drain and caused the blockage, it may be more effective to use a high pressure water jet machine which can apply pressure of up to 5000psi along 100 metres of drain at a time. Unlike many general plumbers, our operations are focussed entirely on clearing all types of drain blockages. The Drain Man has a range of specialised equipment, including pipe location and CCTV systems, the experience and the expertise in all circumstances to isolate the problem, and implement the most effective solution for your environment.
