Servicing Sydney’s southern suburbs since 2017

We’ve worked in Sydney’s south since 2017. We cover two council areas: Georges River and Sutherland Shire.

We start on the coast at Kurnell and Cronulla. From there we cover Taren Point, Caringbah, Sutherland and Oyster Bay. We go out to Menai and Barden Ridge, and down to Heathcote.

Each year we clear more than 450 drain blockages and reline more than 1,800 metres of drain in Sydney’s southern suburbs.

We’re a local, Australian owned company. For blocked drains or drain relining, you get Sydney’s leading drain team. We also work just north, in Sydney’s CBD and eastern suburbs.

Looking after your stormwater drains

From Kurnell to Heathcote, your stormwater drains take the rain from your roof, gutters, driveway and paths. Leaves, soil and litter wash in with it. Tree roots love the water and rotting leaves inside these pipes, and they can block a drain fast.

Many newer homes have narrower 90mm stormwater pipes instead of the older 100mm size. Narrow pipes block more easily and are a bit harder to clear. Our team will still take them on and fix the problem.

Simple ways to help

  • Rake up leaves and grass clippings before heavy rain.
  • Stop gravel and soil washing into your pits and grates.
  • Clean your gutters, so leaves and twigs don’t wash into the downpipes.
  • Never pour paint or chemicals down any drain. Take them to a recycling centre.
  • Wash your car on the grass or at a car wash.

Questions from customers in Sydney’s south

Are flushable wipes safe to flush?

No. Wipes don’t break down like toilet paper. They catch on rough pipe walls and tree roots, mix with grease and slowly build into a blockage. Put all wipes in the bin. Read are flushable wipes really flushable?

Do you clear drains for businesses?

Yes. We have the gear and the team for hotels, cafes, restaurants, hospitals and aged care homes. A blocked toilet or sink can really disrupt your business. We clear it fast and get you back up and running. See our commercial drain services.

What if my drain can’t be relined?

Sometimes a drain is too far gone. If it has fully collapsed, has big sections missing or is packed with concrete, it may need replacing. Our camera shows us which it is before you decide.

Clearing blocked drains

A blocked drain is a pain. It can also cause health problems and damage your home. Most blockages happen in one of two drains: the sewer or the stormwater.

  • It’s a sewer problem if it affects things inside your home, like toilets, sinks, basins, baths or showers.
  • It’s a stormwater problem if it shows up most in heavy rain. Think blocked downpipes, pits and overflowing grates. Tree roots growing into the pipe are the usual cause.

How we do it, in 3 easy steps

  1. We get the background

When you book, we ask about the blockage so your Drain Man is informed. Onsite, your Drain Man will confirm the details of the job and then get straight to work.

  2. We look with a camera, then clear it

An in-drain camera finds where the blockage is. A high pressure water jet or a drain clearing machine clears it. Then we run the camera again, and you get the before and after footage.

  3. We fix the cause

Your Drain Man shows you how to avoid more blockages. If the pipe needs it, you get a repair plan for a permanent fix.

Drain relining

Got a broken, collapsed, blocked or root filled drain? We clear the blockage without making things worse.

Our no dig drain relining uses trenchless technology. So you don’t pay to dig up and replace driveways, paths, patios or gardens. Every relined drain carries a lifetime warranty.

We use CCTV cameras to find the cause and high pressure water jets to clean the drain before we reline it. We film every job, so you see exactly what we see.

We can reline a whole sewer or stormwater drain, or just patch a short section. You end up with a stronger drain that flows better. Relined drains keep tree roots out, don’t leak, are stronger than the old pipe and are guaranteed for life.
